The company is persuaded in its mission by an acute awareness that people everywhere desire luxury residences, but increasingly they are considering the ethical dimension of consumerism and looking for creative ways to impact the environment as little as practically possible.
Avant Garde Homes is founded by Srinivas Varma, who attributes his eco-orientation to an idyllic childhood in Bhimavaram – the epicentre of the
Godavari delta in coastal Andhra Pradesh. The seeds of entrepreneurship were also sown in these fertile plains – Varma made his foray into real-estate in 2005, with small projects in the affordable segment in his native Bhimavaram. Ever the idealist, his buildings reflect a great deal of pride and care for the user experience and embody far greater attention to detail and environmental impact than others in its cohort. Unsurprisingly, these well-crafted habitats have weathered the seasons and stood the test of time.
Srinivas Varma expanded his real-estate operations to Hyderabad in
2008, determined to raise the bar on design, improve detailing and set new standards in sustainability. Having secured his real-estate credentials in his home state, Varma is ready to take his eco-centric proposition to new geographies, under the aegis of Avant Garde Homes.
